Allison Howell joined Gryphon in 2026 and is the Managing Director for Gryphon’s BIA business intelligence team. She has more than 15 years of experience supporting private equity clients and federal government agencies through complex investigative and due diligence engagements.

Prior to joining Gryphon, Allison served as Vice President of Investment Intelligence at Business Intelligence Advisors (BIA), where she led investigative teams supporting private equity and corporate clients. Her experience includes supporting clients such as the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO), the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA), and Fairfax County Government. Allison was previously a registered private investigator in the Commonwealth of Virginia and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Clemson University.
