John Ferrara is the director for data engineering for Gryphon’s data mining and analytics team. With over half a decade of experience, John boasts extensive knowledge of public data sets and experience in data wrangling and modeling. Previously with the New York State Office of the Attorney General’s Executive Research and Analytics Department, John took part in groundbreaking investigations and was on the front lines of big data’s applications for litigation analytics, investigatory lead generation, and cross-sector data integration.
John is the recipient of five New York State Office of the Attorney General Superior Service Awards for his litigation analysis work on issues ranging from tax avoidance to antitrust concerns. John holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Environmental Science from Hunter College of the City University of New York.
