Joseph Ziegler joined Gryphon in 2026 and is a senior associate for Gryphon’s BIA business intelligence team. He has more than eight years of experience conducting open-source investigations in the United States and internationally.

Prior to joining Gryphon, Joe served as a senior research associate with the Investment Intelligence team at Business Intelligence Advisors (BIA), where he conducted pre-investment and pre-employment due diligence, while leading the continuous monitoring program, a 24/7 monitoring service designed to alert clients of emerging risks and high concern situations.

Earlier in his career, Joe managed an international investigative team at a global provider of financial news, data, and business intelligence, overseeing editors responsible for maintaining compliance databases used to screen individuals and entities against global sanctions, politically exposed persons (PEPs), and regulatory watchlists. He also has extensive experience conducting pre-investment and pre-employment due diligence investigations and leads Gryphon’s Continuous Monitoring program. Joe holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from The College of New Jersey.
