David Chidester joined Gryphon in 2026 and is a director for Gryphon’s BIA business intelligence team. He has more than 20 years of experience conducting public records and open-source investigations in the United States and internationally.

Prior to joining Gryphon, David spent 18 years with Business Intelligence Advisors (BIA), most recently serving as Director of Open Source Research. During his tenure, he led investigative research supporting private equity and corporate due diligence engagements. David holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from The College of Wooster.
