Michael McLeod is a director at Gryphon and based in the firm’s London office. A sanctions and financial regulations specialist, Michael regularly advises clients on cases across the Middle East, North Africa, Europe and North America. Michael’s work particularly focuses on market entry projects, complex due diligence, pre-transactional intelligence, litigation support and asset tracing.
Michael began his career working across maritime, human rights, and international law. He subsequently spent time studying in Iran, before joining a market leading corporate intelligence firm in London. Michael has a Master of Arts in Law from Cambridge University and a Master of Science in Iranian Studies from the University of London, School of Oriental and African Studies. Michael speaks French and Farsi, and has been called to the bar in England and Wales.
