Rana Makki joined Gryphon in 2025 as a Business Intelligence Senior Associate, specializing in human intelligence, confidential source inquiries, and pre-transactional due diligence across North America and the Middle East. She conducts complex business intelligence investigations, combining primary source inquiries with open-source research to identify reputational, integrity, and compliance risks involving companies and senior executives.

Prior to joining Gryphon, Rana spent more than three years at a New York-based business intelligence and investigations firm, where she managed complex due diligence engagements, led confidential source inquiries, and served as a primary client contact. Earlier in her career, she held research and project management positions with academic and policy organizations in Lebanon.

Rana holds a Master’s degree in Public Policy and International Affairs and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the American University of Beirut. She is fluent in Arabic and English and has professional working proficiency in French.
