Sevag Kechichian joined Gryphon in 2025 and works on domestic and international cases, using his extensive research background and skills in the social sciences, human rights, and political risk. Sevag speaks fluent Arabic and Armenian and utilizes his language skills in his work with Gryphon which focuses on background investigations into high-profile individuals and politically exposed persons, regulatory compliance, and financial and political risk analysis.
Before joining Gryphon, Sevag worked as a freelance intelligence analyst and researcher in international human rights and humanitarian law for domestic and international organizations. He also has prior experience designing and conducting research in environmental sustainability and climate change, as well as an extensive background in academic research and teaching. Sevag was a Fulbright scholar at Purdue University and studied political science at the American University of Beirut and the University of Chicago.
